Elvira vs. Nightmare Theatre: Parallel Thinking or ????

No one is more excited for the return of Elvira to television than I am. I've been a fan for a long time - bought the DVDs, comics, autographs, etc. Hell, I even named my cat Elvira!

She was one of my inspirations for becoming a horror host back in 2001. I was even lucky enough to meet her and have her shoot a promo for my show back then. So, it was with great anticipation that I checked out the first available clip, the intro, from the new Movie Macabre. Here it is:



It's nicely done and has a great concept, don't you think. I certainly did. Because it's exactly the same concept and series of shots as the opening of my show:



I'm not making any accusations here. Perhaps great minds really do think alike, but I thought I would give people a chance to decide for themselves.
